The interior of the living cabin was kept extremely conservative at the customer's request. Most of the work was carried out by Intercamp Co. The cabin contains a separate toilet with a shower, a short kitchenette, original German Armed Forces storage cabinets from light alloy cabins, a bed, a seat, and an open cabinet for storing and air-drying diving suits with a drip tray underneath. The entire interior can be dismantled if necessary and replaced with a full-scale living unit conversion. A water filter (Water-Jack FreshAssembly 3H 100,000 Inox) can be taken over from the existing interior – however, new filter cartridges would need to be installed. The same applies to the photovoltaic control system and the auxiliary heater.
Images of the interior will follow.
Other:
Spare wheel carrier incl. a large aluminum storage box with two opening flaps and two spare wheels mounted above it
The spare wheel carrier was designed to be foldable at the customer's request, so that the rear entrance door can still be used.
Due to the folding mechanism, the material thickness had to be increased. The carrier can therefore only be used with an increase in the gross vehicle weight (GVW) to 9,000 kg.
MAN has already confirmed that this is not a problem with correspondingly heavier rear axle leaf springs.
Without changing the leaf springs (current state), a GVW of 8,000 kg would be possible.
The spare wheel carrier is currently dismantled.
Due to a long period of inactivity, a full service (all filters + all fluids) is recommended.
The vehicle is ready to drive but must be jump-started as the starter batteries are defective.
A test drive is possible at any time.
Vehicle value (total of purchase and conversion): ~ €120,000
All invoices available.
